Of busy-ness with Pineapple Tarts and Nikon Photography

Hello friends who are trying to keep up with what's been going on in my life and find many empty gaps of silent days ... ...

Its been wretched busy for me.

OK first its because I started a small business with my mother-in-law for fun. We started selling pineapple tarts to Singaporeans staying in the United States. If you are residing in North America and would like to order them, go to the temporary website for our business: Iris Pastries.

Then of course there's the growing love relationship with my Nikon. This love affair is definitely NOT one which is a love at first sight. Handling the digital SLR is a technical challenge. I am learning a lot of things that I wish I could share in this blog but I think that task will be very difficult. I will be putting up my portfolio in pdf - my favorite media - because it allows you to view a lot of pictures with very fast download. I will also include lessons learnt with each assignment that I had submitted. The learning road is long and tedious. Frankly there were moments that I felt that maybe I should give up ... ... but press on I will. Learning my camera is eating into the time that I should be allocating to my curtain crochet deadline but I hope it is well worth it and will reap its benefits in future.

Stay in touch with me to see my not-so-good photography portfolios coming up. I am hoping that over the years I will see how my photos have improved through archiving them on this blogsite.

Love ya'all friends.
